Sinatra wanted a song about his little baby girl, and he wasn't a guy you said "No" to. Especially if you were his favorite composer and you wanted to continue to be his favorite composer. The original lyric---by Phil Silvers, believe it or not--- was sweet and sentimental, although not over the top. My parody lyric , on the other hand, is over the top---because the subject is itself over the top, wa-a-a-ay over the top. "Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi" makes about as much sense as "Nobel Peace Prize Winner Yasir Arafat." (He did??? You're kidding!))
